The tunnel drawing system is well worked out, I understood what was going on once I read how to draw tunnels. The workers also seem to mine ok, but they don't enter the tunnels properly for me. I have to draw a lot of tunnels and it seems to confuse them. Not sure if it's too fun but it's a nice idea! For some reason I like the ore deposit idea, just the way they are laid out you know it feels like there are so many riches beneath the surface. What about a time limit or something?

The first thing I noticed is that the introductory sound sample sounds suspiciously like a snippet out of the Simpsons... anyways, I'll give it zero for sound and let's forget about it. Even though it took a while to figure out what the heck you were supposed to do, the basic idea is kind of cool. Apparently you hire workers that run across the top of the screen and then you can issue dig directions for them. When they reach a designated dig site they start digging, and will dig for like 2 pixels before they have to run back to dump the soil or something. It's very poorly executed but has potential. If it was remade with nice lemmings-style graphics and much speedier gameplay it would probably rock.

Interesting. With some goals it might be a fun game.

So, you can draw lines, and .. Oh, you can press '+' to make some squares come and dig up your lines! Whee. Well, watching the little things dig and munch colored squares, spending all your money in the process, had its charm, but not for too long. The window was created halfway down the screen so that the end went off, which was a bit annoying since the game grabs the cursor so you can't move it (well, not in Windows, anyway .. hooray for alt-click in Linux). Crashed on exit.

Not a game really... I couldn't understand what the objective was or how to work the game at all.

Interesting concept, but confusing to get into, and lacking depth, so to speak With more time to stew and a more flexible implementation this could be a cool game describing the adventures of the miners and how they encounter gas and underground volcanos and monsters and stuff. As for production values, it has smooth animation at least

Took me a while to get into it, but once I did it went along ok. Nifty concept but lacked a clear end point. Simple graphics and I had my speakers up *way* too loud for the intro sounds and was kind of disapointed no more followed.

Couldn't see any miner names to find myself, unfortunately =]
The game kind of amounts to "draw lines through the big squares and wait", unfortunately. It could've been made more interesting, if still a bit slow, if the mineral deposits weren't visible until you started digging around them. Growing a mining business should be about gambling and lucky guesses, rather than resource management -- I mean, come on, the whole point of the mining is to deplete the resources at hand. Add a few bars to adjust both worker wages and the prices at the company store, but be careful not to cause a worker revolt. That kind of thing.
(BTW, thanks for directing me to the games store in Gastown -- it's fantastic!)

Well, a mining simulator. Kind of lacks goals and such things, but me who likes these kinds of things spent a fair amount on time on this, trying different shaft layouts and such. Not much to say about the graphics, it's mostly coloured squares. Loses production score because it's lacking goals and such. Also crashes when selecting Y when asking "again?"

It runs, but at about 2fps. I couldn't figure out what to do after building tunnels. I won't vote for this - it runs to slow to give it a chance.

Stolen Simpsons sound is bad. Some sort of instructions might've been a nice thing to have. But I found the plus key eventually, and worked things out. It's not much of a game by any means, but it's a little fascinating to see them do their thing. There are some serious bugs with workers flying off into space, but I'm very intrigued by the tech behind the tunnel digging. It's pretty impressive, although I note that even if you give them a better way to go, the workers always just backtrack. There's good potential here, but I would like to note that the theme connection is highly tenuous.

I'm afraid of installers. Can you provide a .zip next time?

Rale: - Fun=2 Innovation=2 Production=2 Graphics=1 Sound=1
After few minutes of fiddling with installer & reading keys from cfg I understood what it was about. You have hire staff to dig gold / minerals from the ground and make your business grow. Nice idea.. Too bad that the final result is bit buggy.

I do rather not vote in any category for this one. Hope you didn't waste all your time writing that legalese and configuring the importer (Which I'd advise against, as I don't like 30 or more demos to clutter my registry.)

Took a while to figure out what to do in this game. Eventually I just mashed the + button to create tons of workers and drew lots of random paths; seeing all the little squares move up and down was a little fun. Not sure on what the overall objective is, maybe there isn't any.

I didn't really get if this was a game or not and what the purpose was. It was fun to watch the miners run about (after I managed to find out how to add them) but that was only fun for like, 2 minutes. The idea was nifty but I don't really see a grow element in it yet.
