Ok, first up I'll have to mark this one down on innovation for not having much of a grow theme at all. You "grow" new units and minerals "grow" back, but that's about it. This game is mostly a resource management affair with no real figthing going on. In fact, the enemies aren't much of a threat at all - all they can do is cause a bit of a delay in the mining process. The first time I played I ran out of minerals before I got any miners going, mostly because I hadn't figured out what all the unit types were. Next time was better as I built a little conveyor belt of miners as well as a warrior that took care of viruses. Unfortunately the game crapped out on me at that point, not allowing me to select any more units or buildings, so I was left to watch the minerals roll in. I couldn't have done much more either since there was no threat to the proceess. More capable viruses could have made this more interesting, forcing you to defend your miners. Then again, that would have turned into something even more like every other RTS.

An RTS! Well, not much of a growing theme, perhaps evolving units would be growing? Became unresponsive after a while.

It would have been more fun if I there were a goal to work towards. When I built an upgrader, I got a producer instead.

Well, the game worked, but I couldn't get the menus to do anything most of the time. After the action menu popped up, neither left-clicking nor right-clicking would select any of the choices, or make it go away. Since I assume this was a bug, I'm just putting N/A for fun =). The game seemed like it could have been interesting, though.

The game is not very responsive (java 1.5.0_01).

Best. Game. Ever.

Was acting up on Win98 and whatever JVM I'm using. I'll pass on voting this one.

JayWard: Loaded black screen and nothing else. Will try on other system.

Enjoyable little RTS, but it's way too hard to get into a state where you can become self-sufficient. If you accidentally built an extra fighter to help protect your minerals before you build a mining station and a miner, you're just completely hosed. A bit disappointing in that the game isn't really about managing swarms of nanoresources as the name would suggest. Once you get past that hurdle, it's fairly enjoyable. I like that the units are mostly autonomous, so you can just build a few warriors and they'll protect your minerals.

I got 760 score. I assume score was just what you could get, as I did not see any goals or such things. The viruses went seriously bad towards the end, making it seemingly impossible to actually get any mining done. Sounds are minimal. Graphics are so-so. It's a bit fun in the beginning, but i wears off pretty quickly. I think the NanaCustodians (sp?) should figure out they need to go and repair other buildings by themselves.

I guess I don't have the right java or whatever, it says "main class not found" or something.

Plays like a standard RTS game, but without combat being the main element. The object is to mine minerals and build more units. Structures decay over time, so you need custodians to repair them. The viruses that attacked the minerals are annoying at first, but building warrior units held them off later. AI was a bit lacking, sometimes 3 miners would all try to go for a single mineral spot and some custodians just stood still. Just a few sound effects were used.

Right, I spent about 3 hours on this game. The first few moments where ok, failing to build my empire. Eventually I sussed it out. From that point onwards its about as much fun as watching paint dry. Is there an ending? There is no upgrade center, it just spawns another nano creation center. Gui works nice and dandy - pretty slick. Allright so you cant expect much for 48hrs, but for a game heavilly based on AI theres some do's and dont's. All the miners seem to go for the same mineral- they dont seem to be aware of what eachother is doing. Some of the drones just seem to give up and sit around doing nothing. If only there where some kind of goal maybe I would award this more points, but as it is the repetition sets in hard. I could have easily gone to bed and left this game running overnight.

Very confusing game, took me a while to figure out how to control something and I still haven't figured out why I was doing what I did.
